| Chef swap the combo drive for a LG , they are slightly better, the mouse and KB hmm, I would not go the G9 mouse I have one and its giving me RSI big time and my hand is turning into a claw, the mouse is 2 small to grasp for long sessions,, I am thinking of going for a Razer mouse, you can have my G9 if you want for free. The keyboard I wouldnt get he g15 I hated mine, and why do we want a lcd on our kb you gotta take your eyes of the monitor, have a look at the Raze Lycocosa KB I have one and love it. PS hmm cant afford the 850 watter? what if you want to OC or put in another graphics card for crossfire down the track?
Everything else seems awsome, makes me wish I was upgrading lol, but I got truck payments to make, I will prob upgrade again around Xmas time or after.
Keep me informed on your picks, I think the beast is going to be a solid rig, and you can get 4ghz outa that cpu down the track on air.
Edit .......
Ph the G5 mouse I had before I got the G9 is better in my opinion, either get G5 or try a Razer Mouse.

| I upgraded recently - I sold up the Desktop and got myself a notebook. An ASUS G50VT - cost me $1500 - its alright - a bit of longevity in the graphics with a 9800M GT and i'm gonna swap RAM to somethign faster, put 2 HDDs in Raid and jack the CPU to something better in a few months. I don't use the gaming rig anymore, and cos of uni and my bike i can throw it in a bag and go whereever. Bit of a lifestyle change.
Only thing is - i bought it last week 3 days before the whole free vista to 7 upgrade =/ which i found out about today. But i havent activated vista yet so maybe i can still do it - all they have against me is a date on the receipt paper.
cross fingers i can.
btw my laptop is this: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=fdhHRbJtRlOCqy5C

| Nice laptop Dauntless.
I am not sure if it would be up to playing a game of Arma 2 though, but why not try a Veloci Raptor 300 gb 10000 rpm 2.5 inch drive in the laptop that will walk all over the raid setup your thinking about, or even a cheap SSD nd they will allso slip straight in as well, though the power consuption may be a little higher than the 5400 rpm variant your most likely using now, but you would have it in the wall most times, and notice the improvment more than adding any more ram or faster ram ect.
My upgrading is on hold till the new year, paying off the Mercedes Truck is a killer for me now.

| Spanks, I dont think you would like it, its not something you can just jump into, I still die more than I kill because of my BF2 mentallity, and squad work is well out of my reach, I need someone with a military background to work with to learn how to keep a squad together and alive.
Chefstay away from the pc mate, it has fucked my eyes and I got my first pair of specs today, I never thought I would see the day I needed glasses.
