| Task Force Alliance Charter & Clan User Policy Task Force Alliance Charter & Clan User Policy Thank you for your interest in the Task Force Alliance Before posting an application, we recommend reading the following Task Force Alliance Charter. This policy governs all conduct that is to be upheld by all |TFA| members, and this will help you decide on wether |TFA| is the right squad for you. History & Outline: |TFA| formed from members of Drunkards In Combat in May 2005. The founding members of the team came from a respected team and will continue to uphold that within |TFA|. Our motto is “Winning is not Everything, but the Effort to Win is”, which reflects |TFA|’s emphasis on our members putting in the best possible effort with commitment, selflessness, and teamwork regardless the outcome. This combination of elements will help us to achieve our goals. The following code is a standard of behaviour to be met at all times. Should at any time this standard fail to be met, reprimands may be given at the discretion of the commanding officer. This may include instant dismissal. Method of Operation: |TFA| is a Teamwork Orientated squad that prides itself on its Squadwork and Social Community. If you play solely with Statistical gains at heart and being Rambo, or topping Scoreboards at the expense of sportsmanship and care for others, than it is best you find another clan, as Task Force Alliance stands for the following: Task - The Goal to Win Force - Strength or Power exerted upon the opponent Alliance - The merging of every members efforts Task Force Alliance Policies: Please read the following information prior to requesting Membership. Recruitment Requirements: * 18+ General Age Limit or 16 Years Permitted if applicant proves a Mature Manner and ability * Kill to Death ratio of 1.2 or greater, and Assault Rifle ratio greater than 1.0 * No Previous Clan tags * Strictly No Multiple Clan Memberships * 4 Week compulsory Probation Period All final recruitment decisions are done by ReV. Should there be a player of exception, the team conducts a Study and Poll on the applicant prior to a decision being made. Once your application has been approved, all previous Clan markings - prefixed or set into you log in name, are to be removed, even if a new account is required. No exceptions. |TFA| is a single game clan based on the Battlefield series, we do not allow players who are members of competitive clans in other games, as we have strict preference for all members gaming resources to be focused on our competitive matches. Once set up and introduced, all new members are subject to a 4 week probationary period, to see wether or not the new member suits |TFA| or vice versa. Gaming Conduct: * All squads within a public server must be labelled "|TFA|" * |TFA| members only in squads labelled |TFA| with the exception of potential recruits * Use of vehicles must not interfere with the running of any |TFA| squad * Squads may only be set up and led by members who have been with |TFA| for minimum 2 months * Squads must be cohessive, with all members following the squad leader with close proximity. * Respawns should be carried out on the Squad leader or the nearest spawn point to the squad. * Combined vehicle crews (2+ man vehicle's) must form thier own squad to communicate without interfering with other |TFA| players. |TFA| has long prided itself on its Infantry efforts, and the damage inflicted by its squads. In order to maintain this effort and reputation, a number of rules have been set in place to ensure all playing members have their rightful entitlements (eg a squad leader who is accessible), and can focus on playing a good game without any hassles. |TFA| squads therefore must be led by an experienced member, be locked, and only filled with fellow members unless there is an expression of interest from a potential recruit. Vehicles can often breakdown teamwork, so we discourage the individual use of vehicles as it often hampers the efforts of the squad. Players who crew up vehicles are allowed to do so on the proviso that they leave any |TFA| infantry squads and start their own, sharing the vehicle with other |TFA| members. The new squad is NOT to be labelled |TFA|. Breaching these simple rules enough that the Squad Leader deems it intolerable will result in you getting kicked from the squad. Public Server Conduct: * Don't camp Spawn points excessively or unnecessarily * Do not start/continue arguments * Do not swear Remember you are representing TFA. Make maintenance of our reputation paramount amongst your gaming goals. Play hard and Play fair. But just as importantly be a gentleman or lady. Show sportsmanship. Obey the rules of the host server strictly at all times. These rules may change from server to server, but will ALWAYS include no cheating, no swearing, no bitching in game chat, and no instigation (or continuation) of fighting. Cheating & Exploiting: * Absolutely No Cheating/Exploiting * Do not make public cheat accusations |TFA| will not accept the use of Cheats and Hacks of any description (Overlays or 1337 H4X). Discovered use of these utilities will be met with a prompt dismissal. Intentional Exploiting of in-game glitches - wall bugs, etc. will also warrant dismissal. Do not, even under the most frustrating of situations, accuse other players of hacking. Make no accusations without proof. Where proof is obtained, pass it onto the commanding officer. Where proof is unobtainable, present your opinion to the commanding officer. Do not communicate with the cheater. Do not argue. Chain of Command: The |TFA| chain of command, consisting of commanding officer Rev, Designated Team Captains Fuzzypanda, Overlicker and Colonial Viper. Squad Leaders and Additional team leaders must be followed at all times. Activity & Communication: * Venrilo must be installed * ICQ must be installed and checked regularly * Forums are used to compile match roster * Respect other users with your conduct * Do not spam chat with VOIP * In-game VOIP is utilised Maintain a basic level of activity considered a minimum mandatory requirement to retain the ‘social' feeling within the squad. We understand, being a mature aged squad that there are families and job issues etc that come first, however any prolonged periods of absence should best be marked with a forum notification or ICQ to ReV. Failure to be contacted for a length of time without notification will result with your position in the team becoming vacant. Links to Standard |TFA| communication programs are provided at the foot of the Policy. We utilise ICQ for messaging both real-time & offline, Teamspeak for live voice comms and meeting prior to matches, as well as a general member area for socialising, and OGN forums to roster match squads and have general chatter. Please check ICQ regularly, as offline notifications of matches are sent over this system. With use of these items there is an expectation of good conduct. In a Ladder matches and Scrim matches all chat must be kept to a minimum with only important information flowing over the airwaves. In public games this means showing respect to your team mates by not talking over them and not constantly shouting and screaming in their ears. Voice IP must be enabled in Battlefield. This is our source communications during day to day playing. Make sure your microphone works and you can communicate to members during matches. Check forums and post availability/unavailability. We don't expect everyone to play every single match, but please at least make the effort to post if you can’t make it. Maintain the forums so that they are clean and inoffensive. Our forums are given to us by grace of OGN. We therefore maintain their high standards. Absolutely no pornographic or offensive material is allowed. Match Team Selections: Match teams are selected from people who have posted their availability to a match time in the forums. TFA gives preference to those who have been involved in a TFA named squad for at least 2hr a week with ReV.
